Senior freelance Angular developer, for your team or your product.

Right now I work on an Angular booking platform inside a Scrum team of about ten developers. I can join your team the same way, or build your Angular app, with a NestJS backend if you need one, from the first commit to production.

What I do with Angular

  • Features in an existing app, from ticket to production, following your conventions and your review rules.
  • New apps and internal tools: single-page apps and portals built from scratch, like the internal portal I built next to the booking platform.
  • End-to-end tests, so more of every release is checked automatically.
  • Upgrades and cleanup: the framework upgrade that keeps getting postponed, and the parts of the code nobody wants to touch, in small, reviewed steps. More on that under code rescue.

Right now: a booking platform in a team of about ten

Customers of a major auto-glass franchise book their appointments in an Angular single-page app, connected to the branch network and the scheduling backend. I’m part of the Scrum team that builds it: new features, bug fixes, more end-to-end tests, and a new internal portal built from scratch. Dailies, refinements, reviews and retros included, remotely. Read the case study.

Angular with the backend behind it

Many Angular projects need an API as well. With NestJS on the server, frontend and backend share one language, TypeScript, and one person can own a feature from the database to the screen. Postgres, Docker and hosting on AWS or Hetzner come with it. More under NestJS development.

Three ways to work together

  • Staff augmentation: I join your team, part-time or full-time, from three months.
  • App development: a written scope with timeline and price, a demo every week, and the code belongs to you.
  • Advisory and code rescue: architecture reviews, upgrades and cleanup, by the hour or as a monthly retainer.

Questions

Can you join our existing Angular team?

Yes. I take tickets from your board, open pull requests, review code and join your meetings, in your tools. Part-time or full-time, from three months.

Can you take over or upgrade an older Angular codebase?

Yes. First come tests around the parts that matter most, so every change can be checked. Then the upgrade and the cleanup happen in small steps, each one reviewed and shippable, while the product keeps running.

Do you build the backend too?

Yes, with Node.js or NestJS and Postgres. Then front end and back end are both TypeScript.

What does it cost?

Pricing is on request: a fixed price or time and materials for projects, by the hour or as a monthly retainer for advisory. You get a written quote within 48 hours.
